Updated and Final
Today is the results day of the Unreal Engine 2019 Winter Jam!
To celebrate I'm releasing right now a renewed version of my original entry. Call it 2.0 if you will, but certainly call it FI-NAL. With renewed visuals, audio and multiple endings it's a on a whole different level!
The moralistically swaying theme of "All is fair in love and war" was super fun to brainstorm for, leaving me with an idea of looting for the sake of looting. In the spirit of Stanley Parable, I've reached into what players tend to do in videogames for no other reason than just because they can and related it to real life. Well that was the plan anyway.
While the game panned-out differently then as imagined I think (and so does my girlfriend, and what better objective metric is there) it's an interesting experience worth the time. Play the game to test your own morals in this weird post-something landscape.
If playing is out of the question and you'd rather play, then rejoice! You can see the whole 10-minute short playthrough, together with the varied outcomes of choices you make along the way.
